Keeping the Lights On

A big snow/ice storm is projected for this weekend across the South and Mid-Atlantic regions. Nobody knows where it will hit or how bad it will be, but there are A LOT of people talking about how bad it could be.

While traveling through one of the areas forecast to receive several inches of snow and/or ice, I saw a power truck and crew in the area getting into position in case power needs to be restored. I took the opportunity to thank them in advance for what I imagine will be a long, unpleasant weekend for them.

Their willingness to work in these tough conditions helps thousands in time of need. I won’t be there to thank them when they are out in the storm but wanted them to know they are appreciated.
