No money, no problem

When a little boy who had “no dollars” started walking away from her ice cream truck in tears, Maddy Silvagnoli called him back to give him a free scoop. “We don’t turn kids away when they don’t have money,” the Massachusetts small business owner said.

Supporters took notice and sent in donations to help Maddy’s generous efforts – so much so that now she can give free ice cream to kids all summer!

“I want [our kids] to have a bright future,” she said. “I feel like, if I start something so small they can see my kindness, pay it forward, and it just spreads.” Check out the viral video that started it all!
