Philly SEPTA trolley “operator and DJ” Gary Mason dreamed of driving a trolley since he was a boy. Now, after 40 years living that dream, he’s retiring.

He knows “not everybody gets to work a job they love.” So he’s grateful he’s been able to bring “cheer and joy” to his passengers by playing upbeat music and going all out to decorate his Streetcar 9053 for all holidays. His “labor of love” puts a smile on his riders’ faces – and makes their commute fun!
