Hospital Heroes

Having spent the past several days in the hospital with a family member, I am awed by the care and compassion of the hospital staff.  Working 12+-hour shifts, the nurses and assistants still enter the patient’s room with a smile and eagerness to help. They treat the patients with kindness and respect.

It is a very challenging job to be around people who are ill, not feeling well and often scared.  It takes a special personality to be a hospital worker. I am so grateful for the care they provide.
