Game on, waste gone

Roughly 500 million tennis and pickleballs end up in landfills each year, taking over 400 hundred years to break down.

To reduce ball waste, twelve California high school students – including top-level junior tennis and pickleball players – created Another Bounce. Their goal? To recycle a Guiness World record-setting number of tennis and pickleballs that become new balls or items like nursery plant pots, carpeting, and plastic packaging.

The student advocates hope ball manufacturers will eventually create nationwide take back programs so balls can easily be recycled at the end of their life. But until then, find out where to send your old balls and help them set a world record!
